Hanukkah 2023

We want to share with you our Chanukah activities and tell you about all the light that was spread during the Hanukkah holiday this year in Kyoto, Japan.

First night of Hanukkah, 3 Jews from the US (one of them celebrated an exciting Bar Mitzvah with us ๐Ÿคฉ), a couple from Russia, 10 young Israelis, 5 students ,12 Jews from Kyoto, And more of Am Israel from all over the world ๐ŸŒ.

Everyone gathered at Chabad Kyoto to light the first candle of Hanukkah.

After that, every day we went to house visits and lit the Menora with community members bringing donuts and lots of joy.

Thanks to you, this year we increased the light of Chabad Kyoto. The light continues to shine nonstop !!

In your merit, tens of thousands of souls have been lit up in the past year!

Jewish people connect together some of them for the first time in their lives!

Especially nowadays, when the Jewish nation is in our heart - the soldiers, the citizens and the entire people of Israel. ๐Ÿซ‚People have added more and more good deeds for the safety of our bretheren.

Some have said:

"I haven't put on a tefillin for years, but for the soldiers, for the kidnapped, for the victory."

"I will light Shabbat candles for the first time in my life for our brothers the whole Am Israel."

The truth is that this holiday - Hanukkah has no end.

With your help, we continue the light for the whole year ๐Ÿ•ฏ
